The mission of the Hickory Golf Association is to help more golfers enjoy the game using hickory shafted clubs. In doing so, the Hickory Golf Association aims to deliver more business opportunities to its members who are Collectors, accredited golf repair technicians, and tournament sponsors. Each year, the Hickory Golf Association sponsors tournaments for local, state, regional and national venues.

Grass roots events, such as the Iowa Hickory Classic and other hickory tournaments, fulfill our charter by encouraging people to play hickory shafted clubs.

Central to all Hickory Golf Association activities are its members. The Hickory Golf Association provides direct access to over 3 million golfers who take to the fairways each year. It is through its members that the Hickory Golf Association is able to deliver measurable returns to its corporate partners, charities, and membership to invest in growing the game of golf.
